Did You Make It to the Minis Festival of Friends?

Friends both two-legged and four-legged had a lot of fun this past Saturday at the Minis Festival of Friends. We had a steady stream of excited children and adults eager to get their selfies with the cutest miniature herd in Austin.

After getting their selfies or printed photos taken, many hung around to enjoy the fun and games. Happy young festival goers tried their hand at getting bean bags in the mouth of the laughing mini or winning a photo of their favorite little horse from the giant Plinko.

We at Minis and Friends want to extend a special thanks to the Texas Pearls volunteer group for supporting the event, passing out flyers, running the games, and so much more. The event could not have been such a success without your help!

All in all, the event was a whole lot of fun and a great fundraising success! From photo sales, raffle tickets, and the silent auction, we raised over $2,000! This is money that will go to helping support the work that Minis and Friends does in the Austin community. We couldn't think of a better to celebrate 10 years of serving Austin than to raise funds to support us into the next 10 years.

Thanks for reading this little recap of our festival. Were you able to celebrate with us on Saturday? If so, please comment and share what your favorite part of the festival was. If you weren't able to make it, we hope you'll be able to come to the next one. Follow our blog or Facebook page to keep up to date for future events!
