The Minis Festival of Friends is Almost Here!
Fall is just around the corner, bringing with it exciting things like slightly cooler weather and the promise of pumpkin spice everything. More importantly, this fall brings with it the most exciting event of the year: The Minis Festival of Friends! It's hard to believe but, it was a solid decade ago that Minis and Friends was first established. We've spent those last 10 years serving the Austin community and bringing smiles to the faces of all who encounter our lovable mini horses.
We want to celebrate this momentous anniversary with the city we love! So on September 23, get ready for the fall festival you've been waiting for. There will be fun and games. There will be incredible raffle prizes and silent auction items up for grabs. And above all, there will be adorable minis.
All the merriment will happen in the parking lot of the Hotel San Jose and Jo’s Coffee at 1316 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness in hosting us there. Come on down between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to take selfies with our herd of adorable minis, visit the Mini Kissing Booth, or play carnival games with the family. You can bid on silent auction items, enter the raffle, or buy a fabulous festival t-shirt.
Best of all, the proceeds from all your purchases go to support our continued work in the community. They help us pay to transport our little equine therapists to children's hospitals, retirement homes, and other facilities where they can do the most good. They also enable us to purchase small gifts like plush minis to hand out to some of our little horses littlest fans.
