SeanMonet presented to Austin Equine Associates on 6/1/09 for evaluation of an injury sustained to his left rear limb. He was found tangled up in smooth wire above his hock which resulted in wounds on the front and back of his leg. Due to the extent and location of the injury, there was a potential for a career ending and possible life threatening infection to develop and thus treatment must be aggressive. Thanks to Austin Equine Associates they started the agressive treatment to immediately and Sean has now returned to the mini herd on July 4. Vet bills have climbed to almost $2000.
